All travel that occurs within an Associate’s normal work hours on any day of the week, including Saturday and Sunday, is treated as work hours. Travel time within normal work hours will be paid at the Associate’s regular hourly rate and will be factored into overtime calculations. Travel that occurs outside of an Associate’s normal work hours is typically not considered work hours. Associates will not be paid for time spent traveling as a passenger outside of an Associate’s normal work hours (e.g., airplane, train, bus, or car). Travel time that requires the Associate to drive a car will be paid at the Associate’s regular hourly rate and will be factored into overtime calculations. Health and Wellness Dwellworks strives to maintain an environment that promotes good health. To limit the spreading of illness, Associates are encouraged to use good judgment when deciding whether to report to work when feeling unwell. Dwellworks encourages health and wellness suggestions from Associates and may occasionally sponsor health and wellness activities. Associates are not obligated to participate in such wellness activities. Shared Spaces All Associates are expected to maintain clean work environments and be respectful of the shared spaces, including hot desks, kitchens and conference rooms. Conference rooms can be reserved through Associates’ respective Outlook calendars. Personal Property Dwellworks is not responsible for lost or stolen personal property. Associates should exercise care when bringing personal property to work. Report lost items immediately to your Leader. Any personal property found on Company property must be turned in to your Leader immediately so that it may be claimed by its proper owner. Parking Lots Dwellworks is not responsible for any type of theft or damage to an Associate’s vehicle or its contents when parking at a surface lot or garage for the duration of the workday. Company Communication Communication is vital to Dwellworks success. Information sharing and brainstorming regularly occurs informally among Associates. To provide a forum for the sharing of formal announcements, Dwellworks holds team meetings and Town Hall Meetings where members of the Leadership Team update Associates on company initiatives. Associates are encouraged to share feedback with the Leadership Team during this time. All Associates are expected to attend Town Hall Meetings. Charity Events From time to time, there may be Company-sponsored charity events that take place in the office or outside of work hours. Participation in these events is optional. Charity events can only be held if they benefit registered, Leaders are continuously evaluating the performance of their Associates. Day-to-day interaction with Leaders should provide Associates with a sense of how they are performing. Dwellworks conducts formal performance reviews at least annually for all Associates. A review may also be conducted in the event of a promotion or change in duties and responsibilities. Performance reviews are conducted by the Associate’s Leader. The primary purpose of a performance review is to assess Associate achievement and areas needing improvement in relation to the goals and description of the Associate’s job duties. This Performance Review Policy is not intended to, nor does it create a binding commitment for Dwellworks to review, appraise, or evaluate any Associate or group of Associates. Moreover, a performance review is not a contract or commitment to provide additional compensation, a bonus, or continued employment.
