It is a newly-developed area of the city where residents have diverse backgrounds coming from all over Canada and the world, and are attracted to Toronto for an active city lifestyle. Many of the buildings are known as being pet- friendly with easy access to nearby green spaces, which have all been built within the past ten years. There are also numerous trendy shops and restaurants along King Street West and Queen Street West.
