Upon termination of employment, all Associates must deliver to Human Resources all records, codes, files, documents, computers, software, and the like, pertaining to Dwellworks and its operations. All such documents are the property of Dwellworks during and after the term of employment of all Associates. The obligation to preserve confidential information continues even after employment ends. For more information, please see Dwellworks’ Confidential Data Protection Policy. Record & Information Security Associates have access to confidential records and information. To maintain our clients’ privacy and security, Associates must place all records and information into a securely locked container and lock their computers anytime the Associate is not using their device. When printing confidential or personally identifiable information, Associates must use secure printing while in the office. Unless necessary, Associate’s should not print confidential or personally identifiable information when working from home. When disposing of confidential or personally identifiable information, Associates must place such documents into shredding containers, located at each office. Associates should direct questions regarding this policy to the Legal Department. Press Protocol In order to protect Dwellworks and client information, Associates are prohibited from speaking with, contacting, or providing information to any member of the press, which has requested information or is seeking information from Dwellworks. Additionally, no information should be offered to members of the press or any party outside of the organization concerning any customers, suppliers, or other third parties with whom Dwellworks maintains a relationship. If an Associate is contacted by a member of the press, please notify your Leader of the request and promptly refer the individual to one of Dwellworks’ public relations contacts: + CEO + CFO + Senior Leader, Marketing Department Please consult with Human Resources or the Marketing department regarding any question about this Policy. Intellectual Property Usage The Dwellworks logo is a valued asset as it provides visual representation and brand recognition. All of Dwellworks’ intellectual property, including trademarks, copyrights, and the like, are the exclusive property of Dwellworks. Occasionally, Associates may use Dwellworks’ intellectual property for internal and external purposes. Both the logos and trademarks can be displayed or used for official purposes. However, any work product created internally or externally using Dwellworks brand, logos, or trademarks must be approved by the Marketing Department before being distributed. This Policy applies solely to new work products and does not apply to already-approved documents and mediums such as e-mail signature lines, letterhead, approved advertisements, Dwellworks website, signs, awards, certificates, clothing, employment application forms, and official publications. Associates should contact the Marketing Department regarding any questions about this Policy. Social Media Dwellworks recognizes that the internet provides unique opportunities to participate in interactive discussions and share information on particular topics using a wide variety of social media. However, Associates’ use of social media can pose risks to Dwellworks confidential and proprietary information, reputation, and brands can expose the company to discrimination and harassment claims and can jeopardize the company's compliance with business rules and laws. To minimize these business and legal risks, Dwellworks expects its Associates to adhere to the following guidelines and rules regarding social media use. We recognize that Associates occasionally may desire to use social media for personal activities at the office or by means of the company's computers, networks, and other IT resources and communications systems. We authorize this use during nonworking time so long as it does not involve vulgar, obscene, threatening, intimidating, or harassing content, does not violate any other Dwellworks policies or Associate obligations, and does not interfere with your employment responsibilities or productivity.
