US Handbook 2023
Associates are expected to devote their primary work efforts toward Dwellworks. Therefore, Associates are prohibited from engaging in other employment which could: + Be inconsistent with the interests of Dwellworks + By reason of association, have a derogatory effect on Dwellworks + Require devoting so much time and effort to the other employment that work efficiency would be adversely affected In order to avoid such problems, Associates must consult with a member of the Dwellworks Leadership team before accepting or engaging in other employment. Associates should consult the Code of Conduct for additional information regarding Dwellworks conflict of interest policy. Disclosure of personal interests or other circumstances that might constitute a Conflict of Interest must be promptly reported to Human Resources and/or your Leader. Human Resources will resolve the issue in a manner best suited to the interests of Dwellworks and the individual(s) involved. Gifts Occasionally, clients, vendors, or customers give Associates token gifts. These gifts are to be enjoyed by the entire office, rather than solely by the individuals or departments to whom the gifts were given. All gifts must be either shared freely or raffled off if the gift cannot be easily divided. Associates should consult the Associate Code of Conduct for more information about Dwellworks’ Gift Policy and for information on compliance with laws and regulations on corruption and bribery. Fraternization Dwellworks seeks to avoid interpersonal conflicts, actual or potential Conflicts of Interest, complaints of favoritism, and possible claims of sexual harassment, which may result from romantic or familial relationships within Dwellworks. An Associate involved in a familial relationship, close personal relationship or a romantic relationship with a fellow Associate is required to immediately and fully disclose the relevant circumstances to Human Resources so that a determination can be made as to whether the relationship presents an actual or potential conflict of interest. If an actual or potential conflict exists, Dwellworks may take whatever action it deems appropriate according to the circumstances, up to and including transfer or termination. Solicitation and Distribution Direct solicitation of Associates is prohibited in working areas during working hours but is permitted in non-working areas during non-working hours, including lunch breaks. Associates may not use Company Systems to send direct solicitations to other Associates. Associates who are soliciting funds for charity or a philanthropic cause should contact the Engagement Committee before beginning solicitation. Examples of solicitation include, but are not limited to: + Funds or contributions of any kind; + Purchasing goods, products, or services; + Signing of a petition;
