I tried the following schools but was unable to get a place for my child in any of them because they said they were full.

I finally had to enrol my child in the following school

In view of the distance involved, and the extraordinary circumstance that I was forced to enrol them in this school because there was no school place available nearer to our home, I wish to apply for financial assistance to meet the costs incurred in travelling to and from the school. Where you feel that your child is too young to travel alone on public transport, you might need to change the letter to reflect this: As my child is only years of age, I have to accompany them to and from school.
