Prater / Riesenrad (Giant Ferris Wheel) The Prater (www.prater.at), a large public park in Vienna’s second district, offers exciting attractions on the one hand and a relaxing green atmosphere with meadows, trees and walking paths on the other. The Wiener Riesenrad (Giant Ferris Wheel), built in 1897 and located at the entrance to the Prater amusement park, is one of Vienna’s landmarks – enjoy a ride and have a look at the city from high above.

The UNESCO World Heritage Site Schönbrunn Palace is one of Austria’s major cultural monuments. It is one of the most beautiful Baroque palaces in Europe and used to be the imperial family’s summer residence. Spanische Hofreitschule (Spanish Riding School) The Spanish Riding School is a famous traditional riding school for Lipizzaner horses near the Imperial Palace in central Vienna, which offers public gala performances.
