École Internationale Mersch EIMAB Mersch
The International School of Mersch, also named “Lycee Anne Beffort” is a public international school just North of Luxembourg city, which follows the official European School Curriculum, preparing students for the European Baccalaureate. + In September 2022 the school will begin by offering only P1, S1, S2, and plans to add a class each year as the students progress to the next level.
École Internationale Cessange/Merl Gaston Thorn
The newest of the public International Schools will open in September 2022 in Luxembourg city, offering the first two levels of primary and secondary education. The school, called “Gaston Thorn” follows the official European School Curriculum, preparing students for the European Baccalaureate. + Primary School is located in Cessange + Secondary School on the “Geeseknäpchen” campus in Merl, which offers a wide school bus network Geeseknappchen Bus Network. + Longterm the school plans to company both primary and secondary into one campus in Limpertsberg (Luxembourg City).
International School Michel Lucius Michel Lucius
Lycee Michel Lucius is the first of the public, free of charge International Schools and is hugely popular due to its city center location. This school follows the Cambridge curriculum is followed to achieve the U.K. “A-Level” degree. English is the vehicular language in all subjects with the exception of French and German, which are taught as foreign languages. Students are assigned to classes based on their language level. Enrolment is done by application only. Certain level of English command is required.
