MELANIE HOWELL
Melanie is the Training and Development Manager at Manning Stainton a RAN member. She has worked within the Estate & Lettings Agency business for over 17 years, starting with zero experience in the property industry having previously only worked in customer service roles. She quickly realised that the property industry is all about customer service something that she knew only too well. Initially in Sales she supported various roles until 2007/8 when sales fell to the ground overnight and she was asked to step into the world of Lettings to help manage the influx that was about to hit. With no experience in this field, it was tough but she learnt on her feet and soon realised she absolutely loved it. Having spent many years in lettings,Melanie now helps train and develop teams and individuals new to the industry but also those who are looking to learn more about how they can be the very best at what they do. In this session, Melanie will be exploring the additional revenue streams and opportunities within the landlord & tenant customer journey with top tips on when to introduce them. She will also be recognising the importance of client relationship management to stabilise and grow your lettings portfolio through great service.
