This plan covers medical emergencies, all kind of illnesses, doctor visits, prescription drugs, examinations, hospitalization, dental treatment, and ophthalmologist. Affiliation as Independent Worker (CCSS): Anyone who earns income through an independent economic activity or in the manner of professional services must register as self-employed. Requirements: + Identity card or resident card if the person is a foreigner (original and copy) + CCSS number card from the local clinic or EBAIS + Electrical bill of the house where you live (original and copy) Affiliation to Voluntary Insurance (CCSS): The same requirements as the independent worker are needed and apply for unemployed, students, housewives, and the elderly, among others.
