This park is popular for its excellent surfing conditions + Ostional National Wildlife Refuge: This is a nesting place for sea turtles, with nesting season from August to November. At night, visitors can pay an entrance fee to see the arribada, when the turtles nest their eggs in the sand + Cahuita National Park: Best known for the coral reefs close to shore, there is opportunity for snorkeling and exploring an ecosystem that may be close to extinction
