Returning Equipment: Generally, if equipment is to be returned the provider will advise you when you speak with them, they will send you out prepaid packaging after the cancellation period (generally 30 days). We would advise that if the cancellation policy is 30 days, you ring to cancel a few days ahead so you can return the equipment when you receive the packaging. If you will not be in the country after your cancellation period, we advise that you ask a friend or colleague to return the equipment on your behalf with the below providers. Virgin After your service has been cancelled, you may need to return old equipment to us. If so we will send you an SMS with a link to return it via DPD’s PUDO service. The no-hassle parcel pick up & drop off service. To return your equipment, simply click the link and follow the instructions. Unfortunately, if you don’t return the VM Hub, TV 360, Horizon TV, Digital+ or Digital+ HD box, a charge of €150 may be added to your account. If the equipment is not returned within 15 days our collections team will be in touch to arrange an appointment to collected. You can contact our collector directly on 01 4405310. If you want to be on the safe side, email VMEquipmentCollections@actavo.com to arrange an early pick up of the equipment. SKY Send out a prepaid package after the 31 days of cancellation, this cannot be changed due to an automated service. If you wish to send the package to another contact address the client must specifically advise this to the provider while on the call to the SKY representative when cancelling the service. They can just give the Eircode of the new address and after the 31 days is over the package for returning the equipment will be sent there. Another way is for the client to get the Retailer Order Reference Number while on the call to Sky. They can go onto www.returnmyshopping.ie and fill in their details for Sky. They will need access to a printer as they will then be given a barcode to print out online. They can go down to their local post office and return the equipment then. This will be at their own expense for buying the packaging etc. for the return. There is also an option for them to get the equipment from the address, but there is a charge for this for Dublin only and there will be a charge depending on the location of the property. EIR They will send postal stickers after the 30 days and the account is cancelled. They use Parcel Motel or Nightline for the return of equipment. These are both paid for by the stickers they forward to the client. They do not send any packaging for the equipment to be returned in. Nightline can only be ordered to pick up the equipment once the stickers are received and after the account is cancelled.
